The School Nurse is responsible for the direction, provision and quality
of the health maintenance and monitoring services provided to students
at the Early Learning Center.
Principal responsibilities include:
- Monitor the health and safety of all students and provide medical
intervention.
- Maintain all health records on students.
- Dispense medications and maintain records as needed.
- Carry out and implement hygiene programs with students as needed.
- Monitor and maintain OSHA and DOH guidelines.
Minimum qualifications:
Graduation from an accredited nursing program and New York State
registration, plus 2 years pediatric experience required. Experience
with developmentally disabled children preferred. Position requires RN
license.
